About Erick Galván

This text talks about me, some things important that have happened in my life, and some of my hobbies and interests, so if you want to know only about my work experience you should visit the work experience page.

Hello! I’m Erick Galván, a 23‑year‑old who loves making the most of every day. I believe in staying curious—whether that’s mastering a new chess opening, experimenting with a pasta sauce, or discovering new places to have a good time.

My mornings usually start with a gym session or a quick jog. It gets my energy up and clears my head for the day ahead. When I’m not outdoors, I’m likely: Playing soccer with friends or catching a match on TV—there’s nothing like the buzz of a close game. Thinking ahead on a chessboard, plotting each move and enjoying the friendly challenge. Cooking in the kitchen, balancing flavors—sometimes whipping up a fast weeknight stir‑fry, other times tackling a more complex weekend recipe (I recently perfected a spicy shrimp taco!). Planning small adventures, like a day scouting rural land where I might one day build a getaway cabin.

I’m a practical person: I pause to think before I react, look for the positives when things get tough, and set simple goals each week—maybe learning a new cooking technique or solving a tricky chess puzzle. I track those small wins, because they keep me motivated. Travel is a big passion. Remote work lets me take my “office” on the road—setting up my laptop at a beach café or in a mountain village. I love picking up local traditions, from regional dishes to community pickup‑soccer games. I value balance: active mornings, relaxed afternoons, social evenings, and some downtime with a good book or movie. I also enjoy deep chats over coffee, spontaneous weekend road trips, and swapping recipe ideas or chess tips.

If you know a great taco spot, a scenic trail, or an opening I should try, let me know—I’m always up for something new!
